Taxonomy
Cyrtolites sinuosus was named by Hall (1879). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Limestone Beds, Conn’s Creek, 1 mile south of Waldron, which is in a Sheinwoodian carbonate limestone in the Wayne Formation of Indiana.
