Dikelokephalina was named by Broegger (1996) [Sepkoski's age data: O Trem-l O Trem-u Sepkoski's reference number: 80,378]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Asaphida by Sepkoski (2002); to Hungaiidae by Jell and Adrain (2002); and to Dikelokephalinidae by Corbacho and Vela (2010).
