Taxonomy
Ungdarella stellata was named by Korde (1965). Its type specimen is PIN 2307/7 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Baisal Mountain, West Slope, Gnishik Formation, which is in a Wordian marine limestone in the Gnishik Formation of Azerbaijan.
