Pseudoyuepingia was named by Chien (1961) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Dres-u Cm Fran-l Sepkoski's reference number: 721,1017]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Ceratopygidae by Jell and Adrain (2002); and to Asaphida by Sepkoski (2002).
