Microsuchus schilleri
Taxonomy
Microsuchus schilleri was named by Saez (1928). Its type specimen is MLP-PV 26-IV-30-1, a set of postcrania, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Boca del Sapo, which is in a Santonian terrestrial sandstone in the Bajo de la Carpa Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Microsuchus.
