Taxonomy
Oklatheridium was named by Davis et al. (2008). Its type is Oklatheridium szalayi.
It was assigned to Deltatheridiidae by Davis et al. (2008), Averianov et al. (2010), Davis and Cifelli (2011) and Cifelli and Davis (2015); and to Deltatheroida by Williamson et al. (2012) and Bi et al. (2015).
