Taxonomy
Palaeanatina indica was named by Waagen (1881). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jabi, top beds, upper Productus-limestone, Salt Range, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate limestone in the Chhidru Formation of Pakistan.
