Taxonomy
Heminectere rushtoni was named by Botting and Muir (2011). It is not extant. Its type locality is Randel Crag, Skiddaw, which is in a Dapingian basinal (siliciclastic) mudstone in the Kirk Stile Formation of the United Kingdom.
