Kaiika maxwelli
Taxonomy
Kaiika maxwelli was named by Fordyce and Thomas (2011). Its type specimen is OU 22402, a limb element (left humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is J40/f223 - Waihao River floodplain [Kauru Fm], which is in a Waipawan/Mangaorapan coastal sandstone in the Kauru Formation of New Zealand.
