Taxonomy
Ivshinaspis was named by Petrunina (1973) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Trep]. It is not extant. Its type is Ivshinaspis crispa.

It was assigned to Richardsonellidae by Bao and Jago (2000); to Ptychopariida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Remopleurididae by Jell and Adrain (2002).
