Taxonomy
Ophioderma huaanensis was named by Wu (1980). It is a mold. Its type locality is Fulicun Hzg-1592-C, Hua'an County, which is in a Capitanian marine siliciclastic in the Tongziyan Formation of China.
It was recombined as Aganaster huaanensis by Chen and McNamara (2006).
