Taxonomy
Straparollus (Leptomphalus) arcturus was named by Yancey (1969). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP B-6264, Ward Mountain, which is in an Artinskian carbonate limestone in the Arcturus Formation of Nevada.
