Asthenospongia acantha
Taxonomy
Asthenospongia acantha was named by Rigby et al. (1981). It is not extant. Its type locality is Trail Creek, which is in a Floian marine sandstone/shale in the Phi Kappa Formation of Idaho. It is the type species of Asthenospongia.
