Lophoranina raynorae
Taxonomy
Lophoranina raynorae was named by Blow and Manning (1996). Its type specimen is USNM 484541, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 26870, Martin Marietta Castle Hayne quarry, which is in a Bartonian carbonate limestone in the Castle Hayne Formation of North Carolina.
