Puffinus calhouni
Taxonomy
Puffinus calhouni was named by Howard (1968). Its type specimen is LACM 17508, a limb element (distal end of right humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACM 1945, which is in a Langhian/Serravallian marine siltstone in the Monterey Formation of California.
