Fulmarus hammeri
Taxonomy
Fulmarus hammeri was named by Howard (1968). Its type specimen is LACM 18262, a limb element (proximal end of left carpometacarpus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACM 1945, which is in a Langhian/Serravallian marine siltstone in the Monterey Formation of California.
