Micmacca was named by Matthew (1895) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Atda-u Cm Tojo-u Sepkoski's reference number: 80,462]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Ptychopariida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Chengkouiidae by Jell and Adrain (2002), Geyer (2016).
