Luganoia lepidosteoides
Taxonomy
Luganoia lepidosteoides was named by Brough (1939). Its type specimen is BMNH P.19316, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is San Giorgio, Bender collection, which is in a Fassanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal dolomite/shale in the Besano Formation of Switzerland.
