Palaeoaxinidium orapensis
Taxonomy
Palaeoaxinidium orapensis was named by McKay (1991). Its type specimen is BP/2/18302, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Orapa (Bernard Price Institute), which is in a Turonian lacustrine - large mudstone in Botswana. It is the type species of Palaeoaxinidium.
