Brauckmann 1989Eine zu den Weaniinae gehorende, nur durch ihrc Freiwange bekannte Gattung mit folgenden Besonderheiten : Auge sehr gross, breit nierenformig im Umriss ; Wangen-Stachel massig lang, gcblaht, schwach tropfen-fOrmig im Umriss, im Inneren nicht unterteilt. Vorderer Bereich der festwange (um f3 ) am Cranidium sehr breit, o deutlich innerhalb der Llngs-Projektion von f3 gelegen.
P. Müller and G. Hahn 2022A genus of Weaniinae with the following characters: Glabella mode- rately broadened between δ–δ. Preglabellar region wide (tr.). Anterior fixigenal region at β wide. Palpebral lobe widely extended. Occipital nodules prominent, ?thorn-like. Librigenae with large eyes and teardrop-shaped librigenal spine. ?Pygidium shortened, with narrow pygidial axis, reduced pairs of ribs and with developed border.
