Curculioides ansticii

Taxonomy
Curculioides ansticii was named by Buckland (1837). Its type specimen is BMNH In. 49323, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Coalbrook Dale (Pennystone Measures, Anstice collection), which is in a Westphalian C interdistributary bay mudstone in the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Curculioides.

It was recombined as Hevila ansticii by Giebel (1856).
