Nakunodon paikasiensis
Taxonomy
Nakunodon paikasiensis was named by Yadagiri (1985). Its type specimen is G.S.I. Type No. SR/PAL/12, a tooth (right upper molar fragment), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Paikasigudem village, which is in a Toarcian/Aalenian terrestrial siltstone/sandstone in the Kota Formation of India. It is the type species of Nakunodon.
