Taxonomy
Moschoglossis was named by Goldring (1958) [Sepkoski's age data: C Tour-u]. It is not extant. Its type is Moschoglossis decorata.

It was assigned to Proetidae by Jell and Adrain (2002); to Proetida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Cummingellinae by Lerosey-Aubril (2012).
