Tribotherium africanum
Taxonomy
Tribotherium africanum was named by Sigogneau-Russell (1991). Its type specimen is MNHN SA 39, a tooth (right upper molar lacking the antero-labial corner), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ksar Met-Lili, Anoual, which is in a Tithonian/Berriasian deltaic sandstone in the Ksar Metlili Formation of Morocco. It is the type species of Tribotherium.
