Blanodalmanites was named by Kobayashi and Hamada (1972) [Sepkoski's age data: D Emsi D Eife Sepkoski's reference number: 421]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Dalmanitidae by Jell and Adrain (2002); and to Phacopida by Sepkoski (2002).
