Leiothorax triasicus
Taxonomy
Leiothorax triasicus was named by Pinna (1974). Its type specimen is MCSNB 3156, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cene, Seriana Valley, which is in an Alaunian basinal (carbonate) limestone in the Zorzino Limestone Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Leiothorax.
