Taxonomy
Enoploclytia eocenica was named by Garassino et al. (2009). Its type specimen is MGSB 58902, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Northwest of Sant Hipòlit de Voltregà, which is in a Bartonian open shallow subtidal marl in Spain.
