Taxonomy
Palaeastacus kimzeyi was named by Rathbun (1935). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is About 3 mi SW of Farmersville, which is in a Maastrichtian marine sandstone/marl in the Wolfe City Formation of Texas.
