Taxonomy
Pedinopariops was named by Struve (1972) [Sepkoski's age data: D m Sepkoski's reference number: 1015]. It is not extant. Its type is Liolophops sublevatus.

It was reranked as Phacops (Pedinopariops) by Chlupáč (1977).

It was assigned to Phacops by Chlupáč (1977); to Phacopidae by Jell and Adrain (2002); to Phacopida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Phacopinae by Van Viersen et al. (2019).
