Taxonomy
Galathea (Acanthogalathea) parva was named by Muller and Collins (1991). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Szepvolgy Limestory Facies 4, which is in a Paleogene marine limestone in Hungary. It is the type species of Acanthogalathea.
It was recombined as Acanthogalathea parva by de Angeli and Garassino (2002), Schweitzer et al. (2010), Beschin et al. (2016), Beschin et al. (2018).
