Paguristes whitteni
Taxonomy
Paguristes whitteni was named by Bishop (1983). Its type specimen is GSCM 1683 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GAB37, Blue Springs Locality, which is in a Maastrichtian coastal mudstone in the Coon Creek Formation of Mississippi.
It was recombined as Parapaguristes whitteni by Bishop (1986).
