Taxonomy
Pagurus malloryi was named by Schweitzer and Feldmann (2001). Its type specimen is USNM 512171 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACMIP 6202, which is in a Rupelian basinal (carbonate) limestone in the Makah Formation of Washington.
