Taxonomy

Pararaia was named by Kobayashi (1942) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Atda-u Cm Boto-u Sepkoski's reference number: 463,923 Sepkoski's age data: Cm m]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Estaingiidae by Jell and Adrain (2002); and to Trilobita by Sepkoski (2002).

Synonyms

Tannuolaspis is a genus.

It was synonymized subjectively with Pararaia by Osadchaya et al. (1979).
Proichangia was named by Zhang et al. (1980). It is not extant. Its type is Proichangia carinata.

It was synonymized subjectively with Pararaia by Jell (1990).
