Noritus tenuis
Original description: Test relatively short, spindle shaped, with five to six post-abdominal chambers. Cephatis conical with short rudimentary horn. Cephalis and thorax sparsely perforated, covered with layer of microgranular silica. Abdonmen and post-abdominal chambers trapezoidal to rectangular in outline, consisting of irregular polygonal pore frames with small pores apically and distally. Pore frames tending in linear alignment and with poorly developed short costae.
Original remarks: Noritus tenuis Yeh n. sp. differs from N. Pauxillus, n. sp. by having a shorter horn and by having a test with pore frames more uniform in size.
Etymology: Tenuis (Latin, adj.) thin.
