Taxonomy
Tamdaspis was named by Lisogor (1977) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Fran Cm Trep Sepkoski's reference number: 459,483]. It is not extant. Its type is Tamdaspis tamdensis.

It was assigned to Ceratopygidae by Jell and Adrain (2002); and to Trilobita by Sepkoski (2002).
