Taxonomy
Tanidromites scheffnerae was named by Schweigert and Koppka (2011). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gundelsheim near Treuchtlingen, which is in a Kimmeridgian marine horizon in the Treuchtlingen Formation of Germany.
