Planoprosopon kashimaensis
Taxonomy
Planoprosopon kashimaensis was named by Kato et al. (2010). Its type specimen is KHFM-220027, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is North-side Cliff, Kamimano River, which is in a Kimmeridgian/Tithonian marine sandstone in the Nakanosawa Formation of Japan.
