Raninella armata
Taxonomy
Raninella armata was named by Rathbun (1935). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Blue Mound, near Haslet, which is in an Albian marine claystone in the Denton Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Cenomanocarcinus armatus by Schweitzer et al. (2003), Schweitzer et al. (2010), Karasawa et al. (2014) and Schweitzer et al. (2016).
