Heus foersteri
Taxonomy
Heus foersteri was named by Bishop and Williams (2000). Its type specimen is SDSM 11016, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Oelrichs Tepee Butte, Pat Gilkey Ranch, which is in a Campanian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Pierre Shale Formation of South Dakota. It is the type species of Heus.
