Rugosanilia rugosa
Taxonomy
Raniliformis rugosa was named by De Angeli and Beschin (2007). Its type specimen is MCZ 2684 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cava Lovara, Chiampo, which is in a Lutetian marine sandstone in Italy. It is the type species of Rugosanilia.
It was recombined as Rugosanilia rugosa by Beschin et al. (2016) and Schweitzer et al. (2018).
