Raninoides pliocenicus
Taxonomy
Raninoides pliocenicus was named by De Angeli et al. (2009). Its type specimen is GPDG 0068, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Monterotondo Marittimo, which is in a Pliocene marine claystone in Italy.
