Silvacarcinus laurae
Taxonomy
Silvacarcinus laurae was named by Collins and Smith (1993). Its type specimen is IRScNB-TCCI 6115 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Football Stadium entrance, Avenue du Globe, Forest (Brussels), which is in a Ypresian coastal sandstone in the Mons-en-Pevele Sands Formation of Belgium. It is the type species of Silvacarcinus.
