Calappa costaricana
Taxonomy
Calappa costaricana was named by Rathbun (1918). Its type specimen is USNM 324240 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 4269, Port Limon, which is in a Piacenzian/Gelasian marine siliciclastic in the Moin Formation of Costa Rica.
