Taxonomy
Myra trispinosa was named by Morris and Collins (1991). Its type specimen is BMNH In 61893, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tutong Road, S.5548, which is in a Miocene marine sandstone in the Miri Formation of Brunei Darussalam.
