Ampliura simplex
Taxonomy
Ampliura simplex was named by Morris and Collins (1991). Its type specimen is BMNH In 62157, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tutong Road, S.5537, which is in a Miocene marine sandstone in the Seria Formation of Brunei Darussalam. It is the type species of Ampliura.
