It was recombined as Parthenope eocaenus by Busulini et al. (1983); it was recombined as Parthenope eocaena by Beschin et al. (1994); it was recombined as Bittnerilia eocaenus by de Angeli and Garassino (2003); it was recombined as Bittnerilia eocaena by Beschin et al. (2012); it was misspelled as Bittnerilia eocenica by Schweitzer et al. (2010), Schweitzer and Feldmann (2019).
