Taxonomy
Anisospinos berglundi was named by Schweitzer and Feldmann (2000). Its type specimen is USNM 507767, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is RB-32, Kydikabbit Point, which is in a Priabonian submarine fan siltstone in the Hoko River Formation of Washington.
