Taxonomy
Goniodromites was named by Reuss (1858) [Sepkoski's age data: J Plie-l K Ceno]. It is not extant. It is the type genus of Goniodromitidae.
It was assigned to Decapoda by Sepkoski (2002); and to Goniodromitidae by Schweitzer and Feldmann (2008), Schweitzer et al. (2010), Franţescu (2011), Schweitzer et al. (2012) and Vega et al. (2019).
