Palaeoxantho libertiensis
Taxonomy
Palaeoxantho libertiensis was named by Bishop (1986). Its type specimen is GSCM 1692 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GAB52, Liberty School locality, which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate limestone in the Prairie Bluff Formation of Mississippi. It is the type species of Palaeoxantho.
