Typhlocarcinus obtusus
Taxonomy
Typhlocarcinus obtusus was named by Karasawa (1993). Its type specimen is MFM142009, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Goudaijimashita, which is in a Pliocene marine sandstone in the Dainichi Sand Formation of Japan.
